A quick update on what we've been building
Between races we've been improving the alerts the app sends during a live race. The goal is simple: when something happens on track, you understand it without needing the commentators to catch up.
A few things we added or improved this month:
Still Stuck
When a driver has been right behind someone for several laps and can't get past, we tell you. So you know whether to keep watching or move on.
Missed Virtual Safety Car
When a safety car comes out and a team doesn't pit, they may have just handed positions to their rivals. We flag it the moment it's clear.
Battle Over
When a fight between 2 drivers finally ends, we tell you who came out ahead and how long it lasted.
Cover Stop
Sometimes a driver pits just to stop the car behind from jumping them. We explain why.
